President of Krantikari Kisan Union Darshan Pal in a press conference on Wednesday rejected the government's proposals on farm laws as farmers continue to remain firm on their demands of repealing the new farm laws.

"The government has tried to address the concerns of farmers with an open heart and with respect for the farming community of the country.

Earlier on Tuesday night, Amit Shah met farmer leaders at the PUSA institute. Shah's efforts were aimed at ending the protests on Delhi's various borders by thousands of farmers, especially from Punjab and Haryana. Today is the 14th day of the stir.
